Teens of New York City

Acey was born to a normal middle class family. She had absolutely zero home troubles, and had plenty of good friends. Then, she moved to New York, and stuff started to get messy. Her father got back into drugs and was sent to a rehab clinic until he was free of his addictions, but that was 3 years ago. Her mother, being the bipolar wreck that she was, couldn't handle the house by herself, so Acey is the one in charge. She pays the bills, cleans, cooks, and handles taxes while her mom sits in the living room watching television, all day, until she slides into her room for the night. Acey is an only child.

Acey has long black hair and light green eyes. She prefers to wear darker clothing, and is always wearing one of her dads old ties. Acey is 16 years old and has dropped out of school to work full time as a cashier at a large chain retail store and to help her mother.
